Official Terms & Festival Code

Sound of Silence is not just an event — it is a three-day, three-night musical and travel

experience. By purchasing a ticket and joining the journey, you agree to become part of a shared

community built on respect, safety, creativity and freedom.

1. Festival Access & Participation

*Every participant must hold a valid Sound of Silence ticket matching their category.

* A wristband or festival ID will be issued at departure. This must be worn at all times

during the journey and event.

* Entry to concerts, travel, resort areas, and festival zones is only permitted with a valid

wristband.

This is a closed-group journey. Anyone without festival credentials will not be allowed to join

or enter any part of the experience.

2. Age & Identity

*Participants must be 18 years or older.

* A valid government-issued photo ID must be presented at check-in.

* Tickets are non-transferable without prior approval from the organizers.

3. Travel & Group Movement

Sound of Silence runs as a group journey.

* Travel between Dhaka, Cox’s Bazar, and all scheduled locations will happen together.

* For safety, schedule flow, and experience quality, participants must follow the group

travel plan.

* Missing a scheduled transfer or activity may result in exclusion from that part of the

journey without refund.

This keeps everyone safe, connected, and in sync.

4. Accommodation & Shared Spaces

* Accommodation will be provided at designated beach resorts and festival zones.

* Participants are expected to respect shared spaces, artists, staff, and fellow travelers.

* Any behavior that threatens safety, dignity, or harmony may result in removal from the

event.

This is a community — not just a crowd.

5. Music, Performances & Recording

Sound of Silence celebrates freedom of expression.

* Live acoustic sessions, DJ sets, and performances will be recorded and photographed.

* By attending, participants give consent to be featured in official festival media,

documentaries, and promotional content.

* Personal photography is allowed, but commercial recording is not without permission.

6. Alcohol, Substances & Behavior

To protect the safety and spirit of the festival:

* Illegal drugs and harmful substances are strictly prohibited.

* Any behavior that puts others at risk, including excessive intoxication or aggression, will

lead to immediate removal.

* Sound of Silence is about clarity, connection, and conscious celebration.

7. Safety & Security

* Festival security may conduct checks at any time.

* Any item that could cause harm, fire, or disruption may be confiscated.

* The organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any person who poses a risk to

others or to the event.

Your safety and the community’s peace come first.

8. Nature, Beach & Environment

This festival lives in nature.

* Littering, damaging natural areas, or harming the beach, forest, or wildlife is strictly

prohibited.

* Participants must use designated trash and recycling points.

* Respect the ocean, the sand, and the space — this is our shared home for three days.

9. Personal Responsibility

* The organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

* Participants are responsible for their own health, hydration, and well-being during the

journey.

* Anyone with medical conditions should inform the organizers in advance.

10. Cancellation, Changes & Force Majeure

* The festival schedule, artists, and locations may change due to weather, safety, or

logistical reasons.

* In case of cancellation due to force majeure (natural disaster, government order, etc.),

refund or rescheduling policies will be announced accordingly.

11. Festival Spirit

Sound of Silence is built on:

Respect. Freedom. Music. Nature. Community.

Any action that goes against this spirit — harassment, discrimination, violence, or disruption —

will not be tolerated.

By joining Sound of Silence, you are not just buying a ticket.
