Run for Dhaka 2025 is a citywide civic run designed to bring together residents from all walks of life in a unified stride toward a better Dhaka. The event emphasizes wellness, urban unity, and active citizenship, transforming the streets of Dhaka into a shared space of purpose and energy.

Start and End Point: Police Plaza, Hatirjheel
Route: Police Plaza → Rampura Bridge → FDC → Police Plaza
Run Distance: 7.5 kilometers
Participation: Open for all, with no age or gender restrictions
Expected Attendance: Over 3,000 (including runners, guests, volunteers, spectators)

Venue and Experience
The Hatirjheel Amphitheatre will serve as the central venue for all event-related activities including check-in, kit collection, hydration stations, sponsor booths, and stage programs.
Event Flow Summary:
3:30 – 4:30 AM: Check-in and kit collection
4:30 – 5:00 AM: Warm-up session
5:00 – 5:30 AM: Opening ceremony
6:00 AM: Run begins
7:00 – 7:15 AM: Run ends
7:15 – 8:00 AM: Prize ceremony
8:00 – 8:30 AM: Refreshments and celebration
8:30 – 9:00 AM: Closing remarks
Code of Conduct
Follow instructions from event marshals and security staff
Maintain discipline during all ceremonies and activities
Keep the venue clean and dispose of waste responsibly
Respect fellow participants, volunteers, and guests
Unauthorized actions may result in disqualification
1. All participants must collect their kits during the designated kit collection time (3:30 AM to 4:30 AM).
2. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to avoid last-minute delays.
3. No kit collection will be allowed after the cutoff time.
4. Outside food, beverages, and unauthorized merchandise are not allowed.
5. It is strictly forbidden to bring alcohol, drugs, tobacco, weapons, or illegal substances.
6. No sharp objects, fireworks, or dangerous items are permitted.
7. Participants must follow instructions from marshals, volunteers, and security personnel.
8. Unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, and motorized devices are not allowed on the running route.
9. Personal speakers, drones, and large electronic equipment are prohibited.
10. All bags are subject to security inspection; large bags are discouraged.
11. Professional photography equipment is only permitted with organizer approval.
12. The organizers reserve the right to deny entry or eject any individual causing disruption or safety concerns.
13. Littering is prohibited; use designated bins to dispose of waste.
14. Participants must maintain respectful behavior towards others at all times.
15. The organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
16. Violation of these rules may lead to disqualification or removal from the venue.
REGISTRATION POLICIES: RUN FOR DHAKA 2025
1) One registration per person; non-transferable.
2) Official kit collection will be held on designated dates before event day.
3) Final kit collection (for emergencies only) will be allowed on event day until 5:10 AM.
4) No kits will be provided after 5:10 AM under any circumstances.
5) Kits include jersey, BIB, bag, hydration access, and medal (after finish).
6) Entry allowed only with official BIB and full kit.
7) Registration fees are non-refundable.
8) Accurate personal info must be provided.
9) No duplicate registrations allowed.
10) No changes after registration closes.
11) Registration closes on 1 June or after 1,200 slots are filled — whichever comes first.
12) Participants must follow all event rules.
13) Rule violations may lead to disqualification.
